Daily Driver Possible??
I know this topic has been beaten to death...but I have some questions about reliability. I have been searching through numerous forums and websites and gathering information about the RX-7. I’m in the market to buy one...but if I buy one it will become my daily driver. I won’t be pushing the car to its edge or anything crazy like that...I would just drive it normal. There are a couple FDs in my area that I am looking at...one has a new engine in it. More than likely that car will last along time correct? Even longer if I applied the reliability mods to it right? I have talked to a couple rotary performance shops and they all confirm what you guys say about the motors being toast after 60k-80k miles...do you think this is usually caused by very poor maintenance and radical driving? Nonetheless my question is do you think it’s smart to have this car as my daily driver? Thanks a ton

I really didn't read what you asked just posting off the general ideah..
If you want a daily drive i suggest you find an rx7 with a blown engine have it rebuilt by a respectible rotery expert and go from there.make sure you read all of the tech tips that ever one has offered in the board..........
