CWR Intake install/Hardpipes

Tried to install CWR intake, had boost problem due to likely collapsing primary intake accordian hose. Some folks pull it through into the intake. This won't work for me. Its likely a hardpipe would solve the prob, but i'm worried about fitment with such a cramped space.

Anyone have any experience or feedback on a particular brand of hardpipe (like RX7stores) with a CWR intake? Ideally the pipe would go through into the intake about 1/2 inch or so.

anyone?

I have Chuck's old hard pipes from RX7Fashion w/ the CWR intake. It took quite a bit of hacking the lower pipe to clear...iirc, there's barely enough metal left for the silicone couplers to grab on. But it does fit.

That wouldn't necessarily be bad, i'd really like the pipe to stick through the hole in the intake, and i'd just put the filter straight on it.

Would that be doable?
