custom intake

(refer to picture for #'s)

I installed my custom intake last night (Im waiting on some more hard pipe before I install the upper intake pipe...hence the stock tube) and I get a weird noise from hose #1 which comes around from the back of the engine (it runs into a separate chamber in the stock air box and exits through what looks like a muffler into a tube that just drops down in the bottom of the engine bay and ends...should it be connected to one of the intakes? And hose #2 is for the air pump...should I just stick a breather filter on it or what? And hose #3 is kinda hidden in the pic...it goes to some sort of solenoid or vacume line...but should it be connected to anything or will a breather filter suffice?

Well, the noise is expected from #1.....but I don't think you NEED a filter on that one. I think that carried air to the airbox (return air). The air box one should have a filter on it - it sucks in air.

The noise is natural, though - happens with my Blitz intake, too.

Just makin sure...I think it kinda sounds good...nice n' tough...with the tube on it...without it...kinda sounds bad.
