Cruise control wont work...
Search button didnt turn up anything even related to this, but does anyone have problems with their cruise control not working? I hit the on button for it, the light comes on, but when I hit the Set/Coast button nothing happens. Some cars require you to hold the button for a few seconds to set the CC, tried that, no dice.

your cruise control module may have gone bad if thats the correct terminology. i recieved one free from a guy who removed his module and installed it in my car works great!
may want to put add in parts threads im sure you could find the module cheap!

FORSAKEN,
Also, open the hood and verify that the Cruise Control unit is actually installed. It will be located just right in front of the firewall on the drivers side. It should have a cable running from it and to the throttle body.
A lot of people remove the unit from the engine bay but the controls are still inside the car.

Well, the cruise control unit itself is still there, but as I was lookin around under the dash, I noticed a few things.
First off, the car has an aftermarket alarm, its a compuSTAR, and it has a remote starter, with teh car being a manual. Under the dash, there are ALOT of wires for the alarm. Soon Im gonna get down there with some zip ties, because its kinda ugly IMO. Anyway as I was digging around I found a wire under there that was unplugged, and one side of it has a jumper on it. Its a 4 pronged plug, kinda a largish wire....Id need to take pics to give a better idea...is it possible that this is the cruise control, and it had to be disabled for the alarm/remote starter?
