Crossover Tube for stock Y-Pipe...?

Does anyone know where I can buy an Aluminum or S/S crossover Tube for a stock y-pipe? NOT a Efini Y-Pipe, but just the Crossover Tube, ...to replace the stock plastic one. Thanks.

The few I've seen look aftermarket cause they have a chrome like finish. Do they sell "chrome finish" spray paint??

Unless the pipe was custom-made, I don't think they have one on the market. The only metal crossover pipe that I can think of is the Efini y-pipe/crossover combo.

I believe they do have some of those chrome/aluminum finish paints for engine parts. Check your local autostore for that.

The chrome looking ones are the finished product of laborous polishing of efini y-pipes.

i got a 93 base model and it has a silver/aluminum crossover tube.. but i think its like rotordream said.. its just painted to match it but its still plastic.. or at least i think its plastic .. it doesnt seem that sturdy to be metal IMO
Id sell it to you if i got my hands on a nice y-pipe and crossover but moneys kinda short now for that...

the easiest way to tell is to take the crossover pipe off, and look inside. if it looks smooth like metal, well then its metal, but if it looks kinda like fiberglass, its plastic regardless of color.
