crooked seat

anyone have a crooked driver seat? The butt rest part of the seat seems to be straight but the back rest part is leaning slightly toward the center of the car. I sometimes drive with my elbow on the center console to support myself.

sounds like someone has been using the "gangsta lean" in the car, towards the radio.... likely the hinges on the seat are tweaked

There are two 10mm bolts that hold the inner part of the backrest to the cushion. Tighten those.

Tried that. I loosened all bolts that hold the backrest to the cushion and tried to re-center the seat but no luck.

The arm on Seat back hinge is tweeked (mine on the Left side was bent about 15degrees when I bought the car) get a replacement arm and install it yourself (the shops in my area wanted $150 labor and I did the whole job in an hour or so) I used nylon wire ties in place of the hog rings to re-atach the upholestry.
