couple of strange things after a hard track day
couple of strange things after a hard track day
first off... here's a cool picture.

now to the problem.
after a day of really running her hard i've noticed two things i've never noticed before, problem one is a little bit of oil seepage from inbetween the intake charge pipe (i think is what its called.. the piece between the TB and the intercooler)
and the throttle body. it look like oil is being pushed out of the gasket under boost but i have no other signs of a sever oil leak like a turbo seals, no smoke, no bad running, no nothing. should i be concerned about this?
the other problem is while driving home the steeringwheel is slightly off center to the right. car seems to drive strait, turns normal, im just slightly turned?

First one, on a track day, you are likely to have oil slosh up into the intake due to the high loads when cornering. You can take a look at this website which describes the problem:

Very common for tracked FD's.
The second issue, jack the car up and check your power steering rack bolts. Check to see if they are a little loose. Also check your sway bar mounting brackets. If they are stock, you probably bent or broke them.

Reverus, this is interesting... Same thing happened to me, but I know it is not the Swaybar mounts as I have had them off since doing some work on the FD. I think need to check the steering links.
Mahjik, what are the typical bolts that come loose? Is it the Tie Rod connections that would cause this? In looking throught the FSM, it doesn't realy explain how to adjust/check, or perhaps I am not searching properly.

Oil is running up the fill neck into the oil purge system which dumps it into your intake where it passes through your turbo and into the your intercooler and IC pipes.
The easy cure is to never fill the oil past the 1/2 way mark on the dip stick when tracking the car.
The steering wheel being slightly off center is from heavy steering load forcing the rack either left or right. Basically the bushings that go under the steering rack brackets are probably old and have a little slack in them. If it's more than a little bit and it's going back and forth in could also just be a missing or loose bolt that holds one of the brackets. Finally if it's not due to the steering rack brackets or bushings it could be your tie rod end links.

nice! thanks for the input guys ill put her up on the rack today and have a looksy its nice to know at least where to zero in on and not waste too much time on stuff that probably isn't the problem.
sounds like the oil things is nothing to worry about. awesome!

A quick suggestion also, if you have that much oil up near the TB and intake elbow you might want to remove your IC and dump the oil out of it also.
See below from my IC during some engine work I was in the throes of.
