Could this work???

I was looking at some pic of an engine bay ( dont remeber where ) Anyway, instead of having the two rubber intake pipes conecting to the HKS intake he just had the one that goes to the secondary right on the metal pipe. Heres my problem, I put in a Blitz FMIC and now my intake really doesnt fit with the IC. I dont have the rubber tubes I have aluminum ones that I bought. Im going to either have toi cut them or something so it doesnt rub. But could I do what this guy did, would it really matter if there was no tube, or should I just cut the pipes a bit.

Ahh...sound a bit like my engine bay.

I see no problem. I actually don't even run with ANY air filters whatsoever....but I DO change my oil every two weeks

If you run an air filter right off the secondary intake pipe the filter will be sitting right next to the engine (hot) and right above the turbos (even hotter) so I don't think it is the best idea. Just my observation

Yep...quite hot. But I have metal pipes instead of the crap plastic ones, and couldn't fit the primary OR the secondary turbine intakes on them....so I just too them off and decided to change my oil a lot.

YOu think maybe I should just cut my aluminum ones? I got rid of the crap rubber one too, but now my Blitz filters are not fitting very well. They are zip tied on, it looks perty damn jimmy rigged.
