cosmo into FD..mounts or tapped?

Hey, im currently working on putting a 13bre cosmo engine into my FD. I am trying to decide on whether or not to make custom mounts and risk them not working, or removing my rear housing to have it tapped identically to an Fd rear housing. This idea i am weary of because it woud involve taking a perfectly good engine apart. so my question is what would you do and for those of you out there who have this swap what did you do? Pics would be very helpful too. Thanks

what's with all the cosmo swaps lately? Personally, even if it was in working order when I received one and planned on doing this swap, I'd take it apart, change the exhaust sleeves and at LEAST clean up the big ports, that everyone has been creating a hype about lately...or is it the manifold that has been getting the hype??? Anyhew, then you'll know where you stand, square one, before putting effort into the swap.
