Cooling System Issue
Okay, so the problem i am having with the coolling system is the coolant is boiling after i drive the car for a while, i pop the hood after a drive and i can hear it boiling. The car has a brand new thermostat and i have air bled it several times.
Just to make sure iam bleeding it properly I will tell you how iam doing.
Okay, so i fill up the coolant bottle first then, i top up the coolant from the filler neck above the thermostat put the filler cap back on. After that i remove the rad cap attach the funnel, start the car, turn the heater on, wait till the rad fans come on and thermostat opens then turn the car off and top up the system.
Also i have checked the rad cap it looks fine no cracks or rips in the rubber seal.
Any help would be great.
Thanks so much

hey, bud had the same problems i did 2 things and that bubbling noise went away, also its sometimes normal for it to bubble when the cars stopped, when the water sits and is not moving
1. made sure my fans where engaging at the right temperature
2. change both the caps

yeah cause when the water stops moving and flowing it just sits there and the temperature rises, idk what guage you have but you can notice , i usually leave my car running for a good 5 minutes idling then turn it off , but im not sure exactly i have mine set to 85C both of them are running , it just depends on where u live and what intercooler you got really

Some people had switch to evan coolant to solve the boiling problem as well. It is expensive and you have to drain current coolant, flush coolant, then fill with Evans. Just another thought to consider.
