Soooo, my add coolent light/buzzer keeps coming on when I start my car up in the morning. I have no leaks, system is holding preasure, overflow is full, system is full, and temps are normal on my pfc. Anyone know if a sensor is dying or is there a problem im not aware.

sounds like it could be the sensor...i broke my damn sensor off so i have to drive listning to beeeeeeeeeeeeep..annoying

Yea, it drives me nutz in the morning while the car is warming up. Thx god it goes away after a min or two.

If you remove the radiator cap on top of the thermostat housing, it's full? It shouldn't be going off if it is. Not the cap on the AST, the other cap.

Im having a similar problem. No leaks, system is full right up to the cap in thermostat housing, system has been burped, the sensor is new. If I ground out the wiring harness connector, will that shut off the buzzer. Ive got continuity from the sensor to the end of the wire connection that goes into the harness connector. If grounding the connection is supposed to kill the buzzer then Ive probably got a break in the wire harness somewhere.

I had that issue for several yrs. Seals and rebuild. Hope it isn't your problem also

I wouldn't defeat the sensor unless you've got an aftermarket temp gauge; if you do ever get a leak and don't catch it 'til you smell your engine burning you'll be sorry you didn't just fix the sensor when you're paying for a rebuild.

If it reliably goes off eventually, it's probably not an electrical problem. Any chance you or someone could have switched the sensor harness with another one, like the sensor that turns the fans on? That might explain why it goes offf when hot. I accidentally swapped my knock sensor cable with the power steering lead once and the check engine light would only go off if I steered just right . Then I figured it out....
