The water lines can be removed as well as the hot wax rod and cam with no ill effect . The idle ,hot and cold can be fine if adjusted correctly . My mechanic plugs the inlet and outlet water nipples with pipe plugs. He removes the nipples and drills and taps the holes for tappered pipe plugs . This removes 3 rubber hoses that can leak. Good deal .

It probably depends on the ECU. With the PFC, it doesn't know about things like that being removed so there is no problem. However, on the stock ECU (and some reprogrammed ECUs), the idle could and probably will be a problem (similar to removing the air pump on the stock ECU).

so if I do this with teh stock ecu I should follow the instructions and just wire it open a bit? I mean what happens if it falls off etc. Is the idle poor when its hot too? How poor is poor?
