Coolant Warning Light
Howdy all,
I have had an issue with my Coolant warning light/alarm going off as soon as the car is started. It's been like this ever since i pulled the engine out and put back in. The coolant level is fine as ive been driving around for months with no issues, nor is there any air bubbles in the system. Just wondering where this plug is on the engine? as im guessing it possibly be unplugged?

It's a black plastic hex-head sensor in the front of the water-pump housing. Single wire lead going back to a connector just below the alternator.

My cars doing the same thing after I've just put engine back in. Atkinsrotary have the
Sensors. There not too expensive just ordered mine. Hoping it'll fix my problem. Don't know how you put up with the noise!

If that does not work, you can eliminate the noise, find the big black box making the noise (on my RHD its right above my right foot) open that black box up, it will have a round black object, that round black object makes the noise, unsolder/cut/pull off whatever, and the buzz goes away....

my sensor died (stopped working) when the engine was rebuilt, I tried fixing the sensor, but that little wire got moved around a few to many times and must have been to frayed to work, so until I get a new one, I cut the wire and pulled the buzzer out, I still have the light, but it makes no more noise all I care about..
what about the Double throttle?
I know I removed a few other things that were in my opinion "Over engineered" by Mazda, but I'm guessing most of those were put on to meet emissions and such...

There is another reason this buzzer continually goes off other than a bad sensor... There is a black wire with a single black square clip connector that splits off of the harness right next to the sensor signal wire and has a mate over by the power steering pump. The mate ground wire comes off of the harness that goes to the starter, battery, and fuse boxes. This is a ground, and if it is not grounded properly the buzzer will go off. Hopefully that helps, and it is free to check as opposed to spending money on a new sensor right away.
Ripping the buzzer out is a poor non-solution to the issue. Don't eliminate the annoyance, fix the problem...
