Coolant at start up
Here's the deal...I started my car up for the first time in 2 days after the battery died. So i went for a little drive (non boosting) and when I came back I noticed there were a couple of drops of coolant on the ground. There were maybe 4 or 5 drops total. I don't think this had ever happened before, but for the past few weeks as I was driving I could also smell coolant once I turned my fans on. I have an aftermarket water temperature gauge and have never overheated (gone over 110 c).
Now my question to you is is this a sign that the coolant seals are shot or does this mean I have a nice little leak at either my (radiator hose, radiator ends, or overflow->ast line)?
I'm not familiar with a blown coolant seal so I don't really know how much coolant is supposed to puke out of the tank if the seals are bad. There wasn't any smoke and I didn't even get the buzzer. I was gonna take it to Rotary Power in Gardena anyway tomorrow...well good thing I had already made the appointment.

Usually, with a coolant seal leak the coolant gets into the combustion chamber and gets burn out your exhaust (hence the whiteish/blueish coolant smelling smoke coming out of the exhaust).
If you are seeing it hit the ground, it's very doubtful it's a coolant seal.
You might start by checking the lines that run to/from the AST. Those tend to fail quite often. Mine did and it only leaked when the hose was warm. When the hose was cold, it sealed itself. lol
