Coolant seals?

Has anyone ever replaced just the coolant seals on an FD and buttoned it up with good results. I know that when they go it usually takes other parts with it. I have an FD that still runs good but leaks coolant bad. How do you tell if the housings are warped or not? and lastly can you buy just the seals, gaskets needed to replace the bad ones and how much are they? >thanks for the input

racing beat sells a rebuild kit. i believe that it is roughly ~1600.00

you can not *just replace* the coolant seals. when you dissamble the engine, you will need to replace all of the seals. otherwise you'll be tearing it down shortly after wondering whatwentwong.....
