coolant question

When I start the car I can hear the coolant running through the firewall into the heater core, I am assuming. Is this normal...I revved the engine once and heard it as well. Coolant level appears to be fine..

Usually that means you might have some air trapped in the system. Try burping it a few times and see if it still happens.

Open the filler neck cap, grab and squeeze the upper radiator hose to force any bubbles up and out of the system.

If you need to top off the coolant level, remove the rear coolant line to the throttle body when you fill it.

Start the car up, let it run for a few minutes and then repeat. If you start the car and see the temp gauge rising quickly, immediately turn off the car and start again.
