Had to pull the bottom hose off the filler neck so i can remove the water pump pulley. i lost maybe half a cup of coolant if that. once i add some back do i have to burp the system?

i am thinking its a high point so not needed but worth checking

Fill it... run it.... let it cool.... fill it again. You'll be fine. Using the lisle funnel should be default whenever coolant related activities take place so use it if you have it. If not, you'll be fine.
