Coolant Light problem
Sometimes when I start my car the coolant light and its buzzer will go off. Initially I took this as an indicator that I needed to fill it. It was a tad low (not to the brim) so I filled it, started it up with the cap off and let the air out, then filled it again till it was totally full then capped and turned the car off.
I considered the problem solved when I started next and no buzzer/light. Then it did it again the next day. I checked the fluid, right at the top. I drove it around for awhile got right up to operating temp and never budged like it always has.
Light doesnt always come on. When it does come on, if I drive the car hard it goes off. Im not leaking anywhere, and car NEVER overheats. After start up with it on it will turn off after 2 minutes of driving.
I checked around, a lot of people on the forums have issues with the light going off because rebuilders crossing wires during instillation. But no one touched my car, it just all of a sudden did this. Had it for almost 2 years now. So my next thought was faulty sensor, but Im a bit lost on where that was (of course I could search but I figure maybe you fd guys would know exactly whats going on and have a fix, and if not just point me in the right direction.
