Coolant level sensor/buzzer need help.

Ok when i got my fd it had a single turbo wire harness conversion on it. The issue i am having is for some reason the last owner cut the coolant level sensor(the one next to the alt) out of the harness.
So as you can guess the buzzer goes off. I have searched and i dont want to disable the buzzer, but i cant run a new wire since i cant figure out were i would even run a wire to. I have searched but i only come up with how to disable it.
So if some one can help me figure out were to run a wire to it will be huge help. i am just stumped. And i have looked at the fsm and i cant figure it out.

You got three options:

1. Find a new harness (or run a new wire through the harness to the correct ecu pin) and purchase a new coolant level switch.
2. Disable the buzzer
3. Ignore the buzzer

The wire runs RIGHT into the coolant level sensor. If it's cut too close to the sensor (as it appears you have), there's no fix but a new sensor.

Here's a picture of it from Mazdatrix. It's called (on their site) the "Water level sensor"

find a wiring diagram, figure out which wire is for the coolant level sensor, and wire the bitch back in. there's no need to spend 2 grand on a new harness. the PO sounds like a real ******* winner.

Yah i accidentally cut the wire for the coolant buzzer off, but the easiest and cheapest way is to rewire it to the correct pin on the the ecu connector.

Thanks guys for the help . i did think about running a wire to the pin location but the fsm is a pain to read. I get the basics but when it comes to tracing the wire back to the correct pin i am having troubles .
Because if i am not correct i cant just run a wire from the sensor to the ecu plug correct?

If you can't do it, find someone who can. If they can't do it, the dealership can. If the dealership can't, but a Honda.

It's a brown wire with a white stripe (BR/W) coming out of connector X-12, if you simply ground it to the chassis the buzzer will STFU. This is a common mod for the V8 swap guys, so don't hate me for knowing the answer.

thank you for the help, but maybe i should ask it this way if i run the (BR/W) straight to the sensor will that work or does it have to snake into other wires ?
I still want the buzzer to work so if i can run a wire i will do it , But if i have to take the harness apart it makes it a littler more daunting .

a dealership should NEVER do it. I'd be very very careful about sending a 15 year old rotary car to a dealership -- let alone recommending others to do so. You'd better bring some lube.

Here's some reading for the OP

Yes that should work. You should still check the entire signal run, the schematic is on p Z-44 of the (1993) wiring diagram. Links to it should be in the stickies, look for file (Z)electrical.pdf

Thanks guys. So i figured out from the fsm what wire i was looking for and if i ground it out it does stop the buzzer. So my question is can i hook this wire from plug c1-07 .

i replaced that sensor when the conection snaped, buy for the mean time i just GROUNDED the sensor and the buzzing sound stopped , so if the noise bugs you just ground it untill you fix it

Did you look at the schematic? You don't need C1-06, it's just an extra connector between C1-07 & X-12 and was probably cut off when the original wire was cut. Just run directly from X-12 to C1-07 and it will work the same.
