Coolant Flush Funnel Where to buy?

Looking to buy that nice yellow helper funnel used when flushing radiator.

as see in this video.

http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...arch&plindex=9

Im in Toronto any locations to buy this ?

Also when flushing/filling the coolant, am i supposed to open the AST cap at all ?

Is it necessary to pull the coolant drain plug on the engine block?

I remove the filler cap only.

and you can just use a regular funnel, but it might not hold the amount that the one in the video does. you can try your luck at any automotive store up there.

the main purpose behind this funnel, is to help with burping the system. makes it very simple, and req very little re-filling of the coolant, if any, after the the flush is complete

You can try to find the Lisle funnel locally or online, but I just bought mine at Napa. It wasn't Lisle brand, it was Napa's in house brand, but it was exactly the same with the same adapters. It works good!

I got one from Matco Tools. It's called "Spill free funnel". It comes with different size adapters and works great.

Heres the link:

That's a Lisle coolant funnel, I bought it from a vendor that I found on froogle.com , I think it cost about $20-25.
More info about the Lisle funnel here:

I bought the infrared temperature gun from Costco a couple of years ago, I think it was about $50-60. Besides measuring underhood temps, you could use it to keep track of tire temperatures; if your suspension, alignment, and tire pressure settings are working well, your tire temps should be about the same at the inside, middle, and outside section of the tire.

Is it necessary to pull the coolant drain plug on the engine block?

On that video where he is showing the coolant isle funnel tool at work
is he doing a coolant flush or is he refilling the system?

I couldnt see how it would be possible to turn on the engine if there is no coolant in the system?

Is it nessesary to flush the coolant system when changing the coolant?

This summer I will need to replace the coolant.

Is it necessary to flush the old coolant out with distilled water until on distilled water drips from the drain plug area?

Also is there any guides that I could read that will guide me through the whole process?

I've noticed in the video that the guy places the funnel on top of the AST bottle and not the rad refill bottle...

Does it matter where you place the funnel..
