Coolant Filler Neck Hole near Cap

Hey Guys i am believing i have a blown Coolant Seal as i am having to refill the Filler Neck with less than a litre of water every morning. I have put in numerous posts in regards to my coolant system problems if you search my name you will find them. My question though is i am seeing Coolant right at the top of the Hole inside the Filler Neck but nothing in the Filler Neck its self. I just payed attention to it this time that there is coolant right at the top of that hole but i continue to pour in the neck to fill it up. Am i overfilling the system? The Coolant level in the hole of the filler neck is right to the rim of the hole, Maybe i have a air pocket?

The full level is about 8-in or so below the top of the tank (where the cap is). If you are filling all the way up coolant will be lost every time the engine warms up. On the cap there should be a graduated wand that extends down into the tank to measure the coolant level.

Dave - - he's talking bout the small hole on the inside of the filler neck, not the hole on the overflow tank

HMMMM... You're probably correct. Assuming I misunderstood, where is all the coolant going? If you are losing that much coolant, there should be tons of white smoke out the exhaust and hard (or no) start problems, or there should be coolant overflowing from the overflow tank, or a major external leak.

Also curious about this, as mine seems to find that level too. I think i've got a photo of the bit we're talking about somewhere...

EDIT: Here we go.

Slightly concerned i have a leak under pressure, I'll be finding myself a pressure tester soon.

Mine always does the same and looks similar. Here is what mine looks like. I can add coolant, but it always comes back to this level.

I did a pressure test. The only thing I found out was that I had a 16 psi cap instead of the 13 psi that I should have (yeah, it is written right on the cap so you would think I would notice, but 13 psi is 1.3 bar and the cap just had a very faded 1.3 on it so I didn't think about it.)
