Coolant Alarm Won't go off

My coolant alarm will not stop buzzing even though there is ample coolant, tried to disconnect the wire to the guage cluster but that eliminates tach, speedo, etc. so not an option, does anyone know of another way to fix this? or stop the noise? any advice is welcome. Thanks,

Check continuity to the coolant level sensor. It's a small black sensor w/ a 12mm hex head just below the coolant neck on the front of the T-stat housing. Single wire lead, about 6 to 8" long that ends with a white connector beside your alternator. The lead is easily broken or snagged.

I am having the same problem, the car was partially disassembled and i finally got it running tonight and the coolant alarm wont go off. Is this sensore connected to the power steering pump directly? Is there a picture available? i checked the lead and all is good.
