Thanks again for the compliments. Its has been very long, time consuming, and very expensive. But it was worth every busted knuckle and aching back. DGblk93, yes step by step. Unless you have a money tree! Its taken me about 3 years to build my FD, and I'm not even done yet! It takes time and patience for it to come out like you want it to. Just remember its better to do it right the first time then have to spend twice the time and resources to do it over again. In other words don't take short cuts and skimp out on important things, especially the motor. If you aren't mechanically inclined and pay some body else to do the work, ask if you can help or at least watch. Its the best way to learn and if you help you can honestly say that you helped build your car. Working on my FD I've really come to understand the phrase "patience is a virtue." Don't rush it and take your time doing it. Remember you are working on your car because you like to not because you have to. From experience I've also learned that if you are enjoying what you are doing, you are more productive and the outcome is always better. So just take your time and most importantly HAVE FUN!
Oh the back up lights are just painted to match the car and the rear skirts are if I remember correctly are from a Japanese company called Feels. ZeikHunter sent you a pm.

Mags

Hi,
Very nicely done car. Looks like it was worth the three year imo.

I was wondering what you needed to do to fit your Volks. I am looking at the 19inch Volk Gtc ones as well. Could you give me you offsets for front and back. Are there any rubbing issues with yours?

Did you have to roll the guards and is there any fitting differences between the face 1 fronts and face 2's as I noticed your specs said they are different faces.

I also thought these mags have a centre cap option or am I wrong.

Thanks for any info you can provide as I want to get it right the first time.

Gordon, the fronts are Face I 19x8.5 +39 with Nitto 235/35/19 , Rears Face 2 19x9.5 +37 with Nitto 275/30/19. I could have the offsets switched but I know for certain the offsets are correct. I have no rubbing issues. I running a set of Tein RA coilovers right now and I have no rubbing. I used to have the Tein Ha and I had no rubbing issues either. Alot of people on the forum stated that setup wouldn't work but I have no problems at all. Before I ordered the wheels, I actually called Rays Engineering directly and they assured me that set would work with no problems. Oh for the center caps, you figure by spending over $3800 on a set of wheels they could throw in the center caps for free. WRONG..!! The center caps are about an extra $150 bucks! At least they used real carbon fiber on the center caps. :-) There are two types the low and high type. Mine are the low type. I chose the low because the highs stick out too much. If you are really interested in them let me know I'm thinkg about switching to something different. My wheels are in absolute mint condition with about 95% tread. Let me know if you have anymore questions or if I can be of anymore help. Tony

Wow that car is sexy

One of my favorite wheels out there... the Volk GTCs, correct?

Looks GREAT with the black, extremely clean and shiny FD. One of my favorite FDs!
