Sukai's CYM looks like a pretty decent car. If I didn't already have an FD I'd seriously consider it myself. I'd stay away from this track car. It won't be street legal and it won't pass emissions anywhere it is required. Even if you were willing to drive it illegally, with the interior stripped, you'd have to wear earplugs to keep from loosing your hearing.

That makes a lot of sense. Track cars don't need show car paintjobs.

It would make a terrific track car for someone. However, even if you are considering it, you'd have to figure out what are the local laws in your area. i.e. would you even be able to drive it on public streets.
Not to mention, things like brake bias adjustment have major effects on handling and safety. This should not be touched unless you know what you're doing and you're in a safe, controlled environment (a track). Of course, if someone already fudged up the settings that's something to consider.

Thank you! It is a nice car. I enjoy it very much. It can get a bit harsh on less-than-perfect roads because of its tight suspension. Here is my real website btw. I made the "rotary info" site for those buyers of mine who are getting into an FD for the first time *hint*hint*

www.revolution-motors.com

I try not to get attached to my cars but I really like the CYM. I would keep it if I hadn't already dumped my life and soul into my black one.

I like that car on ebay because I have been wanting to start getting into some serious road racing. For the price I think that is a decent car. It does look like the previous owner stripped it before he sold it though. I don't know if I could do the whole gauge to the side thing tho. Mazda did it right when they decided to place the tach right smack dab in front of you.

Someone on the forum here about a month ago was selling one of Pettits old race cars with a blown motor. I dream about that car. Boy that car would be a blast! If anyone is looking for a racecar I would ask around about it.

And whoever said it, I don't believe that any FD is "crap." That car may have some crappy features or things wrong with it but you can always change what you don't like on that or any car (but like all things it costs $$ sometimes a lot of $$$) I have always had the philosophy that if you pay the extra money in the beginning to get the nicer car and get what you want it will be cheaper in the long run.

Foglights for headlights = FAIL super hard. Owner claims to have spared no expense, yet he didn't buy the real MSP headlight kit to go with the front end.

Better cars out there. You don't know its history. If it is a race car, it should have a log book--ask for it.

Oh yeah, and they butchered that bumper WTF?

ahh, it is the original paint. It is flaking of the front a bit. I am sure those of you who still have original paint know what I am talking about. I will repaint it within the next few weeks unless someone sends me a deposit and tells me not to paint it. It isn't even "officially" for sale yet. I still have to smog it and install the new IAC valve it could really use, not to mention it needs a bath pretty badly.

I am excited to get it painted though. The car just glows as it is. CYM is my favorite color on an FD now. Don't tell me black one I said that

Montego,
Where in San Diego are you? I couldn't help but notice those pictures in your avatar. Are you getting your motor done by a shop or doing it yourself? Damn that looks like a fun project.

I went back and re-read my post and that’s why I said not referring to your car I was talking about the original posters ad. And the flakes that I was talking about was about the actual glitter stuff in the paint it self. Not that it was flaking off nor chipping off. But again I wasn’t talking about your car

No didn’t see a need for one since single turbo FD’s are quickly becoming the norm rather than the exception.
