Constant thumping, WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?
Help!! Sometime last week I was dring at around 60MPH and I heard a big clunk from under my car... I could have sworn I ran over something, but, I think something dropped from my car! I lood at my rear view and I see something rolling around on the street behind me....The whole time I thought I ran over something so I just ignored it... A day later I get these weird thumping sounds. I went back to the same location the next day and couldn't find that thing that dropped from my car!
Let me describe:
I'm getting a thumping sound that is directly associated with the speed I drive at... When ever I go past 60 MPH, the situation gets worse. The vibrations are more harsh and the frequency of it is faster as my speed increases. When I go slow I can barley feel and hear the vibrations and it is at a low frequency... Anyone know what the hell this could be? And it doesn't matter whether I am going in a straight line or turning...
Please help!!!

it does this when snow stick in your wheels but that probably isn't snow in your case

Get the car up off the ground and put it on jack stands to check the PPF. The PPF secures teh diff and the tranny. It will be in parallel with the driveshaft.
I am not too sure if it is the PPF or not. Maybe a suspension component?

Just get the car up on jackstands and check EVERYTHING.
Wiggle suspensiong components around, move the PPF around, check the exhaust system, etc. A clunk could be anything. You need to isolate where the thumping noise is coming from and concentrate on that area.
