Congrats To All The GREAT FD Forum Members

I’d like to thank all the posters that have helped me learn so much about my FD. A few of them are JIMLAB, RICE RACING, GMONSEN and I know there are many others I can’t recall at this time. The forum would not be as valuable without great knowledgeable people like the ones I mentioned.

Maybe others would like to compliment the other GREAT FD posters for the last year.

Hopefully they all will stay and keep us less-knowledgeable fans informed.

Thanx again,

Ken

Yep i owe much of my car knowledge to some of the more knowledgeable posters here on the forum especially Mr Labreck. I'd also like to mention max cooper (sp?) I think he has also contributed a lot of info in addition to those mentioned above.

Just as a side note - not exactly relevant - A friend of mine just got a 93 mr2 and he had a lot of the same questions i see asked on here about 7's and so i told him to ask on the mr2 forum, and he said no one ever answered any of his questions over there-- made me realize how nice it was to be able to come to this forum and get an answer to just about any question. I told him to just buy a 7, and he wouldn't have to worry about it.

Yep tons of great members on this forum, sharing all the info they have to offer to help some of us less fortunate people out.

Knowing that you can ask a question whether it be about putting a v8 in your rx7 or about turbos for your 13B and knowing you're almost 100% sure to get an answer(or someone to steer you in the right direction) is what makes this place great.

Cool Just a few members that come to mind

maxcooper for general FD power modification and wheel/tire/suspension questions http://www.maxcooper.com/

dclin, rynberg, ARD T2 for their help in fielding wheel/tire/suspension questions

nocab72 for his Greddy 2-row FMIC install website http://flathat.woodstream.net/RX7/Docs/Greddy_FMIC.html

Jason for providing stellar deals on FD Rx7 parts through the Rx7 Store.Net http://66.216.67.51/contactus.asp

ARD T2 for providing stellar deals for Rx7 Forum members on Volk wheels

Badog for his knowledge of Apex Power FC tuning

Steve Kan for his knowledge of Haltech tuning

Wade for advocating the stock ECU and dis-spelling the "myth" of the 3-mod rule with REAL lambda wide-band data! http://www.newwave.net/~flanham/wlanham/

Lunar7 for turning me onto Type RS brakes all around, and for providing part numbers

yzf1 for providing contact info for Malloy Mazda to get my new factory reman 13B REW

rceron for allowing me to be his instructor at Road America, and showing me what a KDR Performance Inc street ported motor can do with an Apex Power FC, CWR IC, and 10.5 psi from stock twins! Can't wait until my KDR ported motor, is all done with a Greddy 2-row FMIC , Apex Power FC, and 11 psi from my new J-spec twins (hee hee)

Jaymz for buying my old, but in great-condition, SSR Comps and Hoosiers to free up cash for my Rx7 R1 build-up project

FritzFlynn and Rich for stimulating and funny discussions on Fikse FM-5 and Fikse FM-10 wheels-for-sale board...I think Fritz decided to keep his Fikse FM-10s, and claims to have more blingalicious wheels than Captain Rich's Fikse FM-5s

artowar2 for being the first Rx7 Forum member to pull the trigger on purchasing Volk CE28Ns all around in 9.5 x 18, 47-mm ETs...now if we could just get pics of the wheels mounted on his FD

jimlab for stimulating discussions on all things regarding the FD Rx7; and for being the first to bastardize our FDs with a monster V8 engine

CaptBill for being brave enough to buy an M2 ball bearing twin turbo kit, and running through the R&D that should have been done by M2

r0t0rhead for helping to keep us REAL. r0t0rhead is one of the few rotary motor builders that post on the Rx7 Forum, and his business, Rotorsports Racing http://www.rotorsportsracing.com/ builds the 12A bridgeport rotary motor for the new Diasio D962R C-sports racer http://www.diasio.com/d962r.html

bradrx7 for keeping us focused on what it takes to be a true FD track enthusiast. Although Brad has sold his yellow beast, and is moving on to more powerful tube-framed race cars, bradrx7 is still a respected contributor to our FD Rx7 community

crispyrx7 for providing us FD track enthusiasts with a wonderful website http://reganrotaryracing.tripod.com/rx7main.htm

milesbfree for being one of the first to provide us with an FD Rx7 info site http://www.scuderiaciriani.com/ and being one of the main proponents of the Midwest Rotary Rendezvous @ Road America Elkhart Lake. This is becoming one of those events for the midwest, as MADS is for the east coast

keynote22, yayeR, and mich7 for organizing the Rotary Revolution in Indy April 03. keynote 22 is new to the FD Rx7, but his enthusiasm continues to grow by leaps and bounds! He's also looking to rekindle the Indiana Rx7 Community by starting the Indy Rx7 Club.

KevinTWyum for providing his expertise in intercoolers. What else can you say about Kevin

rotaryextreme for providing alternative views on intercooling (v-mount, horizontal mount), and making us great body kits and vented hoods. I wish Chuck the best in his horizontal and V-mount ICs.

I'm sure I forgot somone, and I apologize in advance

This is a great community. All the greats I can think of have already been mentioned.

Personally, I would like to thank Mindphrame, because he put up with my dumb *** and got jump started with working on my own car.

Thanks for the kudos
80% of what I know about FD3s I learned here on the Forum, The rest comes from reading the FSM and the guys in the Southern California RX-7 Club. Thanks to ALL the RX-7 Community for being so open and willing to share!
And My thanks to JASON, the RX-7 Store, and all the VOLUNTEER Moderators for providing & running this FORUM for all of us.

The Mods are volunteers?

And I thought all along they were highly paid board members of some huge corporation!

Let's not forget TcLaPlaya for his photo archives, oh yeah, and TurboJeff and DamonB for giving us the straight poop when everyone else is thrashing around in the darkness for answers.

dont forget cewrx7 (chuck) and FD RACER (ray) for all their contributions with the datalogit tuning and pfc maps.

Toadman has been a great help too.

PS..just about everyone in the single turbo forum deserves mention. If i ever needed a question answered CORRECTLY I found it in there. The third gen forum is like a lounge compared to that crew. well done boys!

thanks to all
