confused about when they started production

all through the net and on this site it only talks about rx-7s from 93 onwards, but on here:

it states they were made in 1991, now, i'm quite inclined to believe that, is it true, can someone tell me an exact month they started?

I know the design for the car was completed in 1991, but I thought actual production of the car started in 1992

well that's a bit of a **** to be honest, i was hoping it was around march 1991
