confused about spark plugs and neo fluid
k so heres the deal guys, the guy who i take my car to he said that u dont need to have plantium plugs and that its k to use normal regular plugs (BUR9EQ NGK 9' cold all four) so now i am wondering which ones to get plantium or the regular ones? and as for my mods i have dp,high flow cat, intake, smic (soon to be on their) and manual boost controller.
i was looking up one of the websites for neo 75w90hd and i was wondering wats the difference between that and 75w90RHD? do i also need to buy the Posi Traction & Friction Modifier LSD?
thanks any help would be greatly apperciated

The regular coppers actually work better but have a short life span. Platinum is used so you don't have to service the car as often (plugs last longer). If you don't mind the work, get the regular coppers. I don't think you need all 9's unless you are higher then 10lbs.
The R NEO is the race version. That is what I have in my trans. It is for sustained high temp. It's alot more expensive. If you don't track the car then you can get the regular stuff. Sorry, I don't remeber if it has the modifiers in it allready.

1. You don't need 9s all around with a lightly modded car like yours, but it won't really hurt anything. If you do a lot of "wussy" driving, they may foul up a little more than the stock 7s. I have no experience plat vs non-plat.
2. You do not need modifiers for a Torsen LSD like the FD has.

If you change the plugs yourself, get the copper. If not, get the platinum. Both copper and platinum OEM plugs have two heat #'s, 7 (hotter) which is leading and 9 (colder) which is trailing.
More boost requires colder plugs. Race stuff is not better for a street car but is required for a race car. I don't think you need all 9's but you can try it over the summer. You may want to go back to 7's/9's for winter since it's cold in Canada and the hotter 7's will help it start easier in cold weather. You can look at the plugs when you pull them out and see if they are fouled (pics on NGK website). If plugs are colder then you need, they will foul quickly.

If you do use the standard 9's, remember, they have a 2 year guarantee. I was just made aware of this and took 24 of them back to Advanced Auto parts. They require a receipt, but I got around that. Anyways, $120 in plugs should last a while.
