All -

I purchased an aftermarket shift **** and need to know the exact shift thread size for the adapter. Another thread said it was:

S5 Shifter: M10x1.25 (metric 10mm x 1.25??)

Is this correct?

Thanks,
Chris.

You got it dead on. Mazda switched to the 10mm shaft in the '89 RX-7's. Miatas also use that same size.

Sorry to bring an old thread back but what does that size translate into?

3/8-16 or 3/8-24 etc etc???

All the dies i have seen arent sold in metric.
