Compressor

I did a brief search and I found hardly anything so I figured id ask...Im trying to charge my a/c,but before I do that, there is a plug coming from the side of the compressor that isnt connected, therefore not letting the clutch turn on/off.The previous owner had this plug taped off with a wire extension running to where it seems to be the A/C Relay.I really dont want to put that there because that means that the "clutch"(I think thats what its called)will stay running 24/7 while the car is on.Doing the search I found out that theres supposed to be a plug(female)somewhere behind the alternator, but I cant find it.Can anyone help me out telling me where i can connect this to,or if there is an alternate place? Thanks in advance for your help.

I behind the alternator and to the right of the pressure chamber underneath on the solenoids. Heres a pic. This should be the plug.
