Planning to sell my motor soon. I have a question about my compression test. The motor have been sitting over an year. My question would be if theres anything wrong with the rear rotor? could it have been sitting too long and maybe one of the seals are stuck ?? and also this video test i am holding the release valve.. I have done the compression test without holding the release valve and all four pressure shows 100psi with 3 bounces... im not sure if the rear rotor is really bad or if its still good. when i pulled the motor out, everything was running perfect, no smoke or anything showing that my motor is going bad

You should leave in the trailing(top) plugs and install the tester in the leading(bottom) plug hole during testing with the gas pedal pressed to the floor.

Either way, after watching the rear rotor video you either have a blown apex seal or a seal that is stuck badly as you have no compression on two of the faces.

 

well the motor have been sitting for awhile and they are no manifolds on the motor.... i probaly have to give the leading hole a try tomorrow and see the results.. is there any thing i can do to get the seals loose IF I HAVE A STUCK SEAL?

 

Testing from leading or trailing holes won't make a difference with what you're seeing here on the rear.

Do a search for "stuck seal"; people have a few ideas on what to try. Penetrating oil and poking the seals with something like the eraser end of a pencil is something to try..

It won't be conclusive (you can only see a small section of the seal), but you can spin the thing around by hand and look at all three apex seal through the exhaust port, you may see a crack or that it's cocked slightly.

It's a longshot though, my hunch is that it'll need to come apart. If there was a coolant leak or something while it was sitting you could get some pooling and corrosion on one of the seals, but two would be tougher.
