Compression test - use which plug holes?

I checked the FAQ and there are 2 guides listed:

http://www.fd3s.net/compression_test.html says to use the trailing plug holes
http://www.rotaryresurrection.com/3r...ion_check.html says to use the leading plug holes

Which is correct?
