compression numbers to expect from flooded engine?
I had a question which clearly didn't have a legitimate answer other than to just test it and see what I get. I was however getting tired of watching two other members argue about something unrelated. A simple, the answer doesn't exist would have sufficed. I glad your capable of posting something not so asinine and actually being helpful considering your post count.
I believe the build date may have been from 2001, not sure at the moment. Had it needed a rebuild I would have done it myself, glad it didn't come to that though.
I do plan on replacing the lines with new Teflon lines or SS, haven't made up my mind yet. Premix is an insurance policy it doesn't make sense not to use.
Injectors are being sent out for cleaning and new seals
I'm going to eliminate the fpd entirely, it will only fail again own the road. Everything I have read leads me to believe there is no significant loss in doing so and certainly outweighs an engine fire.
Partial emmisions delete and simplified sequential with high quality silicone tubing and dale Clark's check valves are also being done.
Metal AST is sitting new in box ready to go in.
I haven't installed a pop off valve but that's a good suggestion I'll likely take.
I think my question has made me look entirely uninformed.
Take a look at my build thread. Close to stock, reliable, FD.
