How much do they go for normally? The local Mazda dealer quoted me 2 hours at $150ish total.

2 hours

1. put car on lift
2. pull out spark plugs from below
3. hook up tester
4. lower car enough to turn it over
5. read results

The last time I had mine checked, it took Rick about 10 minutes, which included time to let the car cool off a little bit.

Yes the price is in line with typical dealer rip off prices but I wouldn't pay that...
