Column Mounted Guage Pod

While looking around on the forum a while back I read over a thread that compared the column mounted guage pods and their differences. I am having trouble locating this thread and am wondering what the differences in them are. I can think of RE Amemiya's, Pettit's and KDR was supposed to produce one a while back. I am looking for the most stock looking pod that has very good construction. I also don't want to drill any holes into anything in the car; I would prefer it snap in place like the stock piece it is replacing. Shelling out $250 for a RE guage pod is not ideal to me, but if it is meets my requirements best that will be the one I get. Thanks.

Kyle

Note then that the Pettit unit does NOT snap into place. You gotta go some other route to secure it... or just let it look like *** for a while...

That's all I know

I may just start making these again. The I make uses the stock column cover and has the same gauge retention as my center speaker gauge pods. That, and the price would be a hell of alot lower than the RE. I have 1 pic right now showing my original cover here:

Let me know and I can post some more pics later.

Pettit's looks stock. Just use a little dab of black sealant to attach it and clamp with rubber bands for a day. Been perfect for 2 years.
