Has anyone ever thought of doing a vacuum hose job with all the hoses corresponding to the color of the hoses in the vacuum hose diagram, this would make identification of hoses a lot easier and might make my life easier right now, if it sounds retarded, oh well, just a thought.

 

Just do them one at a time, frequently refering to the diagram.

 

you could haved a rainbow engine bay which would inevitably describe the owner who would do this... lol j/k

 

I've actually thought about labelling the vacuum hoses somehow with colored tape or some such. But, really, if you do the hose job right, it shouldn't be an issue as to which hose is what.

Not to mention the hoses will have that "pot luck" look . A buddy of mine's old beater FC had a minor engine fire, and when we fixed it all up we had red, blue, and silver vacuum lines on the car from leftover hose that was around the garage. Looked ghetto as hell. But, the rest of the car looked ghetto too, so it was all good .

The amount of hassle and money involved just to buy the hoses wouldn't be worth it.
