College students owning a FD?
I am going to school and working at the same time. I am 20 and live at home. I have a job that pulls in about 450 a month. I know I don't have enough.
My dream is to own a FD R1 or R2. I'm trying to save up for a down payment and I am aiming for $1600.
1. Most likely can't afford payments, insurance, gas and up-keep.
2. Dont have a downpayment saved yet.
3. Parents will help with insurance. I.E. they will pay the insurance on a regular car.
Yet I see a lot of young people owning FDs. I see a lot of people with college e-mails. I even see kids as young as 17 owning R2s. Are these kids just spoiled or am I missing a loop hole.
I am trying to save as best as I can. I really would like one but don't know how to go about getting one. How are some of you younger people surviving payments and school.
