cold/hot **** semi-broken

it turns further then its supposed to. you think the **** itself is broken or the thing that the **** moves when turned is broken?

My ***** got loose - IIRC, there is a screw or nut on the piece behind the **** that needs to be tightened. Pull the **** off and you'll see it.

Yep. Pull the **** straight back to remove. Once it is off, you need to align the peg with the hole, and tighten it up. It will become obvious once the **** is pulled off.
