Cold air intake/ intake duct

i was wondering if anyone has made o cold air intake or a duct to get cool outside air to the apexi intakes on my 94

ive been thinkin about this for a little bit and it all seems like a pretty good idea. Get wire-mesh grille and put it where yer turn signal lamps are and mount the bulbs further back so they dont get soaked if it rains. a whole lot of cool air should come in then. Anybody got some opinions on how this would work???

I am going to make a cold air duct that brings air in from the regular place(side of rad) and below the car( straight down from the filters) using Al. sheeting and Plexiglass. I am waiting for my Fluidyne install ( rotaryKnight where are my hoses!!!) and the final location of my Performance Garage SMIC before I design the box. Should bring in enough cold air flow. I'll put up pics in a couple of weeks if my HOSES ever get here.
