Co2 in a Nitrous Bottle

After thorough research - I have deceided not to use Nitrous on my FD3S (too risky), I am going to use my full Nitrous system to cool the intakes and Intercooler.

As Co2 is far cheaper than N20 - would there be any problem filling my N20 bottle with Co2? Or using the N20 hoses for Co2?

Also, with N20 - we have to watch the bottle temps and use a bottle heater/cooler to regulate the bottle pressure - "Will this apply to C02 as well?"

Any help from liquid gas experts would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Heland

Thats a waste, shoot a 50 shot just have it tuned. Also I think theres something with the vavles that doesnt allow it to be used for c02 at least.

I think you can use it. I cant see why it would be a problem. I know in paintball that if you go for a no2 setup, instead of co2, you need to have a carbon fiber wrapped bottle. A carbon fiber bottle is needed because the no2 is under more pressure, and if you drop the bottle, or smash it on something, it will explode and injure you pretty bad. Maybe getting one of those nitrous carbon bottles would be a good idea to be on the safe side. But it might not be needed if someone posts here with some correct info for you.

You should be fine, as long as you stay under the rated service pressure of the cylinder. You may want to verify if you need a different burst disc. A welding supply shop would be a good place to ask.

Total waste IMO. Just use it the way it was meant to be used.
