Clutch wont fully engage

Hey guys, I am having trouble with my clutch not fully engaging after rebuilding my engine. It is the HKS GD pro twin plate clutch and it has less than 5000kms on it (I installed it new before the rebuild and had no problems with it). Every part of the clutch was in good condition when i put it back in so now im not sure where to go from here. When I drive it, it feels like the clutch is slipping bad. Anybody have any ideas on how to fix or adjust the pressure on the plates? thanks,

Alex

I don't know much about twin disc clutches. However, based on what you have said, it sounds like it was assembled to the engine incorrectly. If you didn't open the line on the slave, and all is bled properly, then there isn't much left to do other than pulling the tranny to inspect the clutch assembly. Probably not the best hypothesis, but sometimes you just have to get in there and see what's going on.

Hope this helps.

As above. Check through the inspection plate, and see if there are alignment marks on the assembly , and check clutch fork and bearing are ok.
