Clutch switch part #

When looking on the forum I found the part # for the clutch switch to be LA01-66-490A. I however now have that part and the origional one from the car sitting here in front of me and they are different. I had two plugs plugging into the back of the original one. One large heavier gauge wire and one small. The new plug only has one small female spot for a plug and even the small plug doesn't fit there. What the hell? I usually look up parts myself, but this seemed fairly simple, and it is indeed a clutch switch, is my car just weird???

My car is a 93 base FD

There are two pics attached the one with the red button is the original one.

Jason, good to see you never sold the FD on account of kids, or whatever ridiculous reason you were talking about.

Could it be that you're looking at the stop lamp switch, BR70-66-490A?

Hmmmm... Never thought of something as stupid as that.... Didn't think I would be looking at the wrong pedal, but then again I was hanging upside down in my car late last night , so I could have easily grabbed the wrong switch.

Well, I've just confirmed that I am indeed an idiot. I was looking at the wrong switch. I can't even blame it on the baby yet since he hasn't arrived yet. Although he will be here any day, so maybe it's just the stress.

When I had my head crammed down there I did notice that the plug on the back of what is obviously the brake switch is was melted, so if anyone smells melting plastic from under the dash this may be the source.

Anyway, good call Dave, thanks, maybe some other retard will find this thread later and set themselves strait :-)
