clutch pedal sticks

Ok here is the problem:

I was at a light and i went to change gears but my pedal stuck to the floor. I lifted it back up with my foot and changed into 2nd gear and pulled over. I have tried to bleed it but i dont think that is the problem. The pedal only sticks when pressed all the way down otherwise it comes back up. The slave and clutch master cylinder are not leaking neither are the lines. I have the slave and master cylinder off my car right now. BEFORE I ORDER NEW PARTS HOW CAN I TEST TO SEE WHICH ONE OR BOTH PARTS ARE BAD?

thanks for any help.

No, probably just the clutch master cylinder... I changed mine about a week ago.

it is pretty hard to isolate which is bad and since they both do the same duty is is common practice to rebuild/replace them together. if the cylinder bores are not scored it is a easy fix with the rebuild kit
