Clutch Pedal install

Alright, I've been on here for a long time, and I've read a ton (and am almost done building my half-bridge beast)... I've also been searching like a fiend for the past 2 days to find an answer to this:
First off I'm helping a friend convert from an auto to a manual (my old fd that I gave him cheap). Anyhow, I've been gathering all the information on everything I can find to do the swap... but one thing I haven't found... Can you install the new clutch and break pedals without removing the dash... or is it best to remove the dash?
It looks like I can do it without removing the dash, but it looks like a bitch to get to.
Thanks in advance.

You can install them without removing the dash. If you need more room you can take the driver's seat out so you can lay on your back and get a good look at things.

i found it easier with the dash out, for the sake of 9 bolts and a few plugs i would pull it out, its not really as hard as it looks

lol alright thanks.... I've pulled the dash out of my rx7 once and it wasn't that big of a deal, but I figured I'd ask so I could save a half hour worth of work pulling my friends out nd putting it back in. Now I gotta debate on which way will be quicker.

I changed the pedals out with the dash and seat in and found it to be very easy. If you have the right extensions and swivels it is an easy job. It is painful on the back but no need to go removing the dash in my opinion.

All you have to do is dissasemble the lower part (all plastics below steering column.) Then drop steering column (2 bolts up front and 2 below pedal assembly) not to difficult but after finding out that your jap spec pedals dont fit youll become very good at it

I found that if you move the seat all the way back and go in on your back, it's a pain, but it will work. No dash removing required.
