Clutch Noise - Please Advise.

Just changed the clutch in a car with a new throwout bearing, organic disk, exedy/daikken uprated pressure plate (looks identical to stock). The pilot bearing was changed 1000km ago so I did not replace that or the seal.

Now, when partially engaging the clutch in 1st gear (from standing start), there is a slight noise / sound - like a rubbing noise - not so much like metal on metal, but very slight "growl" or "grumble" noise.

This sound changes slightly but is often present when the clutch is fully engaged. The sound level seems to subside, but not fully as engine is warmed up. It is not audible during driving on the road.

Any knowledgable suggestions please?

I'm thinking its the pilot bearing, because the sound is not present when the clutch is disengaged..

Bump for some experienced opinions please.

so, when you have the clutch pedal out (engaged) it makes the noise? if that is so, it is most likely your pilot bearing. If you have it pressed in (disengaged) its your throw out bearing. Either way, if you replace one, replace both.

Yes it makes the noise when the clutch is partially engaged (loudest) or fully engaged (pedal out, not as loud).

This isn't a loud harsh noise, just a slight "rumble" or "rubbing" sound.

It's a relatively new pilot bearing (approx 1000km's) but I guess it was damaged when I was putting it all back together after replacing the clutch recently. I will install a new pilot and throwout bearing, thanks for the advise. I kinda doubt it, but I wonder could it possibly be anything else?
