Exclamation Clutch master cylinder maybe bad??

I just put my motor back in. Go to push the clutch in, and it slams to the floor. I pull it back up, then I try it again same thing happens. So I get under the dash and take a look. There is a rod that goes through the firewall when I wiggle that its all over the place as if its not even hooked to anything. Is that normal? I first thought that I needed to bleed the clutch, problem is that I cant even build any pressure. Does anybody know what the problem is, help!!???

yeah sounds like a master cylinder or slave problem, just do yourself a favor and go buy rebuild kits and rebuild them, it's easy, just make sure you hone the bores so it makes a good seal
