I would suspect that one of the hard parts (pushrod, cylinder) is scratched or worn and rapidly tears up the seals. Time for a remanufactured or new one.

This is always being a problem since 1st gen. Best thing you can do is buy new one.

I have NEVER had good luck with rebuilding clutch hydraulics. Just get a new one. You can easily get 100,000 out of a master cylinder, and if you have a heavy pressure plate that extra load on the hydraulics will blow out rebuilds time and again.

New clutch masters aren't very expensive either - like $80-90 or so. Well worth spending the money and not having to go through the hassle again.

Probably because you're doing it wrong, VJ.

I've had good luck so far with a rebuild kit from Mazdatrix, but then again I've probably put less than 1k miles on it so far. I'm also using the stock clutch and pressure plate.
