my clutch is slipping and i need to get a new one. anyone have any ideas on what clutch kits i should look at. i know the obvious ones like ACT and ClutchMasters. also i was thinking about getting a lightened flywheel. so any suggestions are appreciated.

You need to aswer a few things to be helped... What rwhp will you be running? street, drag, autox, road race driving? you'll be looking at either a disk, or puck clutch depending on your needs. Keep the stock flywheel for draggin, or lightweight for most other applications. A $250 new stock clutch is supposed to be good for over 300rwhp

You need to decide what path the car will take when choosing a clutch. If you're only doing minimal bolt ons then I would keep stock. Its obviously the most streetable and will hold pretty well until you go beyond normal bolt on mods.
