clutch clarification
im confused as to which clutch to use. i have a stock fd, and right now i would rather get the power i have to the ground then make more power.
i am confused as to the difference between 4 and 6 puck clutches. also how well dose the stock pressure plate do with an aftermarket clutch. i would like something with reasonable streetability how ever i only drive it like once a week so i would like one thats on the "edge" of streetability and track. longevity is also a concern as i dont feel like replacing it every year or 2.
what are your guys opinions and/or reviews of the different clutches. im also considering a lightweight fly, opinions on flys are also welcome.
i am some what of a budget as i just got a new job but have the same old bills (BLAH)

Many, many posts on this topic! An ACT S/S would work fine for you. Relative to one of your comments you might want a heavier duty pressure plate with stock friction disk, but not the other way around. . .Flywheels start at around 8 or 9 lbs and go on up IIRC. I have a 12 lb and am happy with it, might have gone lighter if I were doing it again.
i have an ACT SPRUNG 6 PUCK WITH HEAVY PRESSURE PLATE that should be ideal for street D.Driver.don't go with 6 puck rigid or worst 4 puck that will be a little annoying to drive on a regular basis...just my opinion.
