Cluster millage reset?

I just purchased a new cluster becuase my OEM speedometer is not working properly. I havent attempted to do the swap yet because I may have an issue becuase of the Milage difference. My cluster reads about 70,000k and the new cluster is 52,000k. I can probably put the new cluster in but then its no longer legit. Does anyone know if the milage is in the ECU or is it in the cluster itself? If it is in the cluster, do you know where I can get it programed to 70,000 k? I have alot of service records and parts that are still under warrantee. Changing the milage will void out the waranty work. Let me know thanks.

at least you're honest and don't see this as a free 18k miles that you can put on the car.
